Surgical Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai ,worked for 3 years in various department(rotation). Also worked at Bombay Hospital, Mumbai.
Did Fellowship in Surgical Oncology at MP Shah Cancer Hospital, Ahamedabad, under guidance of Prof Dr. D.D.Patel.
Returned to Bihar laid the foundation of cancer Surgery in Bihar.
Started the department of Surgical Oncology at IGIMS, Patna worked for 2 yrs.
Established, department of Surgical Oncology at Mahavir Cancer Sansthan, Patna in 2001. It was under his dynamic effort that Sansthan got recognized for teaching DNB in Surgical Oncology the first time in India.
Under his guidance, many students have been trained for cancer Surgery at Patna.
He segregated the oncology in specialized units. He has special interest in Breast, Head Neck, GI, GU Soft Tissue Cancers
He has Establishing 150 bedded comprehensive cancer hospital in the name of Savera Cancer Multispecialty at Patna, Bihar. 70 beds are already functional.
He established Bihar’s 1st Oncology forum called " Society Of Oncology", in 2003 in which he was the Hon. Secretary till 2008 President of the Society till 2013 . Have organized the ABSI Zonal CME in August 2012 which against all odds was a huge success. Organised Pink Walk at Patna Gaya, every year in Oct.
Organized numerous conferences, Seminars, Symposium have many papers to his credit. A full member of Association of Surgeons of India, Indian Society of Surgical Oncology, ISO, ICON and many others.
