Biography
Dr. Kanchan Kaur is very passionate about increasing breast cancer awareness in women and enabling early detection of breast cancer. She works very closely with multiple NGOs in the community. Dr. Kaur trains blind girls to examine breasts as part of a novel program called "Discovering Hands" and she was instrumental in bringing this to India. She is a tutor on the government online learning platform "Swayam." Dr. Kaur has contributed to the breast cancer awareness section on the MShakti app launched by Indian Cancer Society. She is a regular faculty at breast conferences and has multiple academic papers to her credit. She also runs a breast cancer support group called "Pink Prana," and offers advice to patients and their careers during their journey of diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
