Biography
Dr. Anil Kamath has been practicing as a consultant surgical oncologist since 2008. With an excellent academic record, he graduated with an MBBS from Mysore Medical College and an MS from St. Johns Medical College Bengaluru. He stood first in the All India Superspeciality Entrance Exam in Mumbai and did his MCh at the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. Following his MCh, Dr. Kamath has done postdoctoral Fellowships in Head and Neck and Gastrointestinal Surgeries. He was awarded the UICC- ICRETT Fellowship for specialized training at Washington Cancer Centre for peritoneal surface malignancy surgeries. Dr. Kamath has many papers and book chapters to his credit which have been published in reputed journals. He has been a faculty and speaker at many national and international conferences.
Dr. Anil Kamath is well trained to perform all type of cancer surgeries which include head and neck, breast, thoracic, gastrointestinal and gynecologic cancers. Dr. Kamath has performed a high number of major cancer surgeries on both local and international patients with excellent clinical outcomes and extremely low complication rate. He is well trained in laparoscopic and other minimally invasive oncologic surgeries.
