Dr. Satish Chandrasekhar Nair is the Director for Medical Research at Tawam Hospital, affiliated with Johns Hopkins Medicine International in Al Ain UAE. He graduated with a Bch.Med. and later completed his Ph.D. in drug discovery and has also worked as a faculty of Medicine at various US institutions. He has authored more than 54 papers in various international scientific peer-reviewed publications and 2 book chapters on Molecular Medicine and Genetic Susceptibility of Diseases (Mary Ann Liebert, NY). Currently, he is the associate clinical professor at the college of medicine, UAE University where he continues to teach medical residents while also being involved as an investigator for clinical trials and the chair of the ethics committee.
